SermonClip

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of the SermonClip macOS application. By using SermonClip, you agree to these terms.

1. What SermonClip does

SermonClip helps users trim church-service recordings, prepare subtitles, add opening and closing bumpers, create audio exports, and optionally upload finished media to YouTube.

2. User responsibility

You are responsible for:

3. Google and YouTube

Optional YouTube features use Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API. By connecting a Google account, you authorize SermonClip to perform the YouTube actions you request.

Your use of YouTube remains subject to Google’s and YouTube’s terms and policies. SermonClip does not control YouTube’s availability, processing times, quotas, content policies, or review decisions.

4. Local files and uploads

SermonClip processes selected media locally on your Mac unless you explicitly choose to upload an export to YouTube. You are responsible for selecting the correct files and export destinations.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use SermonClip to violate applicable law, infringe another person’s rights, upload content without permission, or misuse Google or YouTube services.

6. Availability and warranties

SermonClip is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every source file, bumper, subtitle file, export, or YouTube operation will work perfectly in every circumstance.

You should keep original recordings and review important exports before deleting source files.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SermonClip and its administrators are not responsible for indirect losses, lost data, failed uploads, service interruptions, or content removed or restricted by YouTube.

8. Changes and termination

These terms may be updated when SermonClip’s functionality or policies change. You may stop using SermonClip at any time by deleting the application.
